The Rum Diary
Tired of the noise and madness of New York and the crushing conventions of late Eisenhower-era America, itinerant journalist Paul Kemp travels to the pristine island of Puerto Rico to write for a local San Juan newspaper run by the downtrodden editor Lotterman. Adopting the rum-soaked lifestyle of the late ‘50s version of Hemingway’s ‘The Lost Generation’, Paul soon becomes entangled with a very attractive American woman and her fiancée, a businessman involved in shady property development deals. It is within this world that Kemp ultimately discovers his true voice as a writer and integrity as a man.
VMovee Review:
For me, this movie is one of the best movie released in the year 2011. It is a pleasure for me to have a good movie, a few intelligent speakers, and these collective speeches reveal the central idea of the movie. I know it gets a lot of stick for being the mainstream popular movie, but honestly I can not think of anything wrong with the movie online.
The Rum Diary is the only movie I saw whole, more than once There is not a single thing wrong with that movie. It sets the 10/10 standard for every other movies in existence for me. It’s taken me multiple rewatches and a lot of hours on the wiki to understand everything.
The soundtrack, the atmosphere and the characters. The fact it still holds up so well is a testament to what a work of art it is. I just bought this movie on blu ray and decided to upload full movie The Rum Diary here, so now this movie will be available online free for all.
